A south African woman Gosiame Thamara Sithole has given birth to 10 babies.
Sithole, a resident of Tembisa East in Johannesburg broke the Guinness World record by giving birth to 10 babies through a caesarian section on Monday.
She broke the record previously held by a Malian Halima Cisse who had nine babies in May in Morocco.
Sithole who said her conception was natural, said it was tough at the beginning and had earlier prayed to God to help her deliver healthy babies.
Her husband Teboho Tsotetsi said he was happy and emotional about the news.
Sithole also has six-year-old twins.
