BENI LAR REELECTED FOR A RECORD FIFTH TERM

Beni Butmak Lar, has won a record fifth term in office as member North /Langtang South Constituency of Plateau state.
She ran on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party.
Lar polled 42, 008 votes.
She was followed by Vincent Venmak Bulus of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 21, 345.
Barr Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Sports who contested the election on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, polled 3, 369 votes.
