IRETI KINGIBE SACKS ADUDA FROM SENATE

Ireti Kingibe has won the FCT Senatorial election after defeating incumbent, Senator Philip Aduda of the Peoples Democratic Party.
She ran on the Platform of Labour Party.
She polled of 202,175 votes to emerge winner.
She was followed by Senator Aduda who polled 100,544 votes.
Mr Angulu Dobi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came third with 78,905 votes.
