Alan Fisher dethrones Hilda Baci to take Guinness record for longest cooking marathon

An Irish chef Chef Alan Fisher, has dethroned Hilda Baci to take the World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Guinness World Records announced Chef Fishers achievement in a post on X on Tuesday.

Chef Fisher according to the post announcing his win cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.

He surpassed Chef Baci’s record by 26 hours.

Chef Alan also claimed the longest baking marathon title, with a time of 47 hours 21 minutes to surpass the previous record held by Wendy Sander who had a time of 31 hours 16 minutes.

Hilda Baci has since congratulated the new record holder.

In a post on her X account Baci said “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!”
