NAWOJ gets new leadership
The FCT chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women of Journalists (NAWOJ) has appointed a new leadership to pilot its affairs.
Bassey Ita-Ikpang of the Nigeria Television Authority was elected at the just concluded election held on Saturday as Chairperson.
Rebecca Bolanle Ukpevo emerged as the Vice Chairperson while Nkiruka Nnoli-Okeke was elected as secretary.
Others are Assistant Secretary Laraba Murey, Financial Secretary Remi Johnson, Internal Auditor Mena Iyorkegh and treasurer Chinasu Udeze.
Ita-Ikpang in her acceptance speech, assured her commitment to ensure that the values and principles of NAWOJ are upheld.
