D’Tigress create historic Olympic upset with win over Australia
Nigeria’s female basketball team D’Tigress have created a historic upset at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
They beat World No. 3 ranked Team Australia 75-62 in their opening match at the Olympics.
The win is also their first in the Olympics in 20 years.
They will play hosts France on Thursday, while Australia will face world No. 5 Canada in another group B match.
