Senate president Akpabio tenders apology to Natasha Akpoti for nightclub comment

President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio, has apologized to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over his recent comment where he urged her not to speak as if she was in a night club.
The comment drew widespread outrage after Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan spoke without being recognized and Senator Akpabio has now apologized for his comment.
Speaking at plenary, Akpabio apologized, saying “I will not intentionally denigrate any woman, and I always pray that God will uplift women.”
